Lazy Bloody Mary Recipe
The Bloody Mary is known as one of the most complicated cocktails, at least chemically speaking. A Bloody Mary is sweet, salty, sour and savoury without being bitter. Combining so many flavour profiles in a balanced way can be tricky but it’s certainly worth it.
Even if you're following a recipe, it involves quite a few ingredients and steps to get it right. So if you’re particularly lazy, you’ve really got to want a bloody mary to go to the effort of making one.
That’s why it’s often so much easier to buy a bloody mary mix and play with the garnishes. Here’s our super easy bloody mary recipe for all you lazy bloody mary lovers.
- 60mL Vodka
- 180mL Bloody Mary Mixer by Stonewall Kitchen
- Garnishes (to your liking)
- Fill glass with ice.
- Pour vodka over the ice
- Top with Bloody Mary Mixer
- Stir gently with a long spoon to disperse the vodka
- Add your chosen garnishes!
What garnishes should I use?
Since you’ve got the core Bloody Mary out of the way with an easy mixer, you can focus more on playing with the garnishes. The most common garnishes include celery ribs (great for stirring as you drink), olives and pickles. We have some great bloody mary olives available, but you can go crazy with your favourites.
Other great garnishes include chunks of cheese, limes, lemons, bacon strips, and prawns. It’s definitely acceptable to turn your bloody mary into a full meal!
